This is a photograph I took coming back from the Yukon on the gold train.  It was the bridge that was used to transport gold ore down the gorge to the sea.  That it was built in his environment of wood and that is supported very heavy trains filled me momentarily with wonder.

But now there it sits, an object of my photographic whim, serving no purpose other than to rot back to nature and provide a home for whatever creatures in nature choose to adapt it to their needs. Something Zen there I am too thick to realize.  -30-
